This past weekend, a friend and I ventured north in search of Lake Superior ice. This year there was not much. It hasn't been cold enough to generate the thick 3-to-4-inch ice that creates the beautiful big shards of ice when it collides with the shore. Our timing also coincided with a snowstorm. It wasn't a huge storm but all it brought was gray clouds and awful or no color. So, what do you do when nature gives you grayness? You take what nature gives you and create black and white. I would love to hear from you on whether you like it or not. Does it work?
